Welcome to the GM Ranch and one of the homes of RPR Appaloosas.

 We are a full service training and working cow horse ranch where we specialize in starting horses and exposing them to all the elements of everyday ranching, trail riding and working cowhorse.

We start and train all our own stock from our breeding program and the horses we bring in to sell to pay for our breeding program.

We also will take your hard to handle horse  or horse that needs a refresher and exposure and take them on the trail with us to parades, trail rides, cow work and arena work. We also go to cattle pennings and sortings and will take your buddy along with us for the experience. We want to give you back a well rounded, easy to get along with partner that you want to keep for life.

Clover

  This 12 year old 15.2 hh blue roan Appaloosa mare is very quiet and well broke. Beginners and kids have ridden her. She has no buck in her. She has been trail ridden and also ridden among cows. She neck reins and would make someone an excellent pleasure trail horse. She would be a good 4H prospect or beginner horse.

This mare is on consignment.

Avalon Connectadream

This 2004 15.2hh, beautiful strong gelding is very easy going and a sweet ride. He has an easy nature  with no buck and would be a great 4H horse or just your partner in pleasure riding.. He was professionaly trained for the Western Pleasure Show circuit. He is sound and up to date on worming, feet and vaccinations.

 We have been working him on cows in the arena and he likes them!

We took him to the mountains for a snowy trail ride and he did great.

"Chevy" is very well bred and goes back to World Champion bloodlines. He is registered with the ApHC.

Avalon Royal Miracle

We call this sweet mare, Sarah. She is a 2007 14.3hh dappled buckskin with a lacy blanket and she loves people. She is very friendly and extremely athletic. She has been well started with arena work, exposure to cattle and has been to the mountains on the trails. She is registered with the ApHC. Her price will increase as training progresses.

Avalon Royalty

This very flashy dual registered 2008 gelding is a snowcap Grulla. He is very friendly and easy natured. He will be started this spring as a two year old.

Avalon Royal Honey

This 2007 14.3hh mare has a nice solid build and a really cool copper color with black AND white spots on her when she sheds out. Honey was started as a two year old and we have started her training again. She is very accepting. She has been ridden in the mountains, around cattle and in the arena.  She is registered with the ApHC.

RPR King's High

This 2006 15hh palomino leopard gelding has had a busy life so far. He was raised in our barn so has had extreme handleing since he was a baby. He was started as a two year old and has been worked on cattle, trail ridden in the mountains, been in the Stampede and Airdrie Parades, been on display in the booth for the Appaloosas at the Calgary Stampede, been to a Working Cowhorse Clinic and has already been a winner at cattle penning and sorting.

He has the most gentle nature, very respectful, not spoiled and extremely athletic. He doesn't spook or buck and has been a tour pony for kids and tourists at a big company Stampede barbecue in downtown Calgary.

RPR King's High is out of National Champion High Noon and a grandson to World Champion High Sign Nugget. Can I say more about that? He is out of YOR King's Ransom who was one of our best broodmares.

If you are looking for a safe, loving partner that you can compete on or just trail ride, parade ride, grandkid ride, then this is your guy. It breaks our hearts to see him go but we have many younger horses that we hope can be as good as RPR King's High.

RPR High Maintenance

This is our little princess from 2009. She is  a real going concern and loves to play but is such a sweety. She already has a great hip on her and she will be an athletic, cowy  future contender. She is sired by our stud, Mr High and Mighty and out of the black  mare Katie Belle.

RPR High Pressure

This beautiful, athletic and correct yearling stud colt is the full brother to YOR Noon Showdown, RPR High Treasure and YOR Gold Medal. All these boys are National Champions and International Champions in Halter and Performance. They are extremely cowy and talented with fantastic dispositions.

 Their dam is BCA Treasure Lane and their sire is YOR High Noon.

RPR High Pressure is the last of this breeding so we want him to stay a stud.  He is for sale as a stud prospect or RPR Appaloosas will retain him for future breeding purposes.

RPR A  Koppur Noon

This 2008 gelding is out of our great color producing  working cowhorse mare "YOR Noon Bonus" and the black and white leopard stud "Stars Fim Koppur" from Starmyri Appaloosas. Talk about FLASH!. This little guy's barn name is "Win". He has had imprinting and extreme handling on him since weaning. He has been saddled and bridled and very lightly started. He is so huggable and ready for a "Loving"home. I'm sure gonna miss this guy.

RPR High Review

We sure were surprised to see no spots when Blaze was born but I have grown to love him like the rest. He is an awesome colt and his conformation and disposition are a match to his brothers that are National Champions and awesome cow horses and athletes all around.. He is such a big suck. He loves his hugs.

His sire is our Stallion Mr High and Mighty and his mother is BCA Treasure Lane.
